“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life, Confucius.” Meaning choose something that you love doing so it feels like you’re not working at all. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a professional baseball player. Just always being around the game and playing it with my family as well the high school level and being able to have the opportunity to move on to the collegiate level as well ,but growing up I realize that the chances of that happening to me are slim to none. In saying that I still want to be able to be around the sport I love very much, so to make sure that still happens I am going to pursue a career in the field of sports marketing. While working in the field of sports marketing the tasks that I will perform on a daily basis will be “ working to promote sporting events, teams, and players, as well as a variety of services and products connected to those teams” (“Job Profile: Sports Marketing”). As well as “ working with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as budgets and contracts, marketing plans, and the selection of advertising media, planning promotional campaigns such as contests, coupons, or giveaways and creating advertising campaigns, including which media to advertise in, such as radio, television, print, online media, and billboards.” (“Advertising, Promotions, and Marketing Managers.”). By staying on task and completing these duties on a daily basis I will be benefiting the sports community and world. Even though no one will look at them as benefits, I will be held responsible for the tasks and assignments given to me so that they will be completed on time and done very well. I will spend each and every day continuing to bring my company closer and closer to being the best that it can be, and making sure that I am being the best I can be each and every
