In 2017 I see myself graduating 8th grade a entering 9th.Then, All of my hard work is going to be paid off and I'm finally going into high school. I want all of the teachers and students to remember me as the hard working student that has never failed to succeed. A legacy is a way you want to be remembered. Some people will succeed and some will fail. The legacy you will leave you will either make people praise you or not like you. Going into 9th grade I want to leave a remarkable legacy.
If I were to leave a remarkable legacy, I would have definitely made a tremendous difference in people's lives. My family and teachers will be proud of all of the passing grades and good feedback from all of my teachers. However, I want to be remembered as a role model from all of my teachers and classmates. I want to be recognized as the student who was always hard working and brings sunshine into the classroom. This is a very big goal to accomplish but I will stride to the best of my ability this year. If I never make goals for myself or work hard and don't learn from my mistakes I won't leave the legacy I want to leave. One goal that I want to achieve is to get stright A’s. As a highschool student we come up with many goals that we want to achieve each year. My three main goals for my junior year are to get good grades and maintain a good G.P.A. to stay active and play sports, and to start looking for colleges to apply for. To continue, the memories that I would want to remember from Godinez as a junior is having to be involved with my school's communities such as being involved in the National Honor Society and the ASB Senate, attending all of the school dances, and going to the sport games. Currently, my main goal is to graduate from East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree of science in engineering with a concentration in biomedical engineering. My anticipated time to graduation is five years with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Setting goals is the most important thing you can do in your life. Valedictorian Speech Good evening fellow graduates, teachers, family members, friends, and distinguished guests. It is a tremendous honor to be the valedictorian of our graduating class. My job is to somehow be the voice of the entire graduating class, and take five minutes to say a few words on behalf of all 539 of us. Like most valedictorians, writing this speech was not an easy task for me. Not because I did not have anything to say, but because I was overwhelmed by how much I wanted to share with you all on this day. Tonight, we have one common purpose, to celebrate. We are here to congratulate, to look towards what the future holds for us, to wish each other well, and to, most importantly look back on our time spent here. So, I would like to start by saying 'well done' to my fellow graduates, who have all worked hard during the past several years to reach this milestone. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the graduating class for selecting me to speak here tonight. Ever since the news broke, many people, some who've I've never really met before, have come up to me and have wished me well. We should always remember that goals are simply tools to focus your energy in positive direction and for you to work hard. We should also remember this always “don’t let your goals just be goals, work hard, do everything and anything to make that goal a reality” Success is something that we all want to achieve in our lives.
