The National Honor Society in an exceptional organization that enhances students to help the community whether it be assisting nonprofit firms, orphans, or the aging. A chance of joining the society would make me excited due to the limitless openings it would create in my future. Joining it would thus enable me to grow as a person and the same time help me do much for others. This is a result of my hard work and an assurance that my opportunity in the National honors society is a step that will enhance me achieve success and cherish the chances of becoming a leader and a role model to the society. I have proven to myself that I can make my dreams achievable. As for my academic ambition, I try to schedule myself with the most demanding classes that I can handle. For instance, since the begging of high school, I have taken Pre-AP classes and which I aim to continue them as well as AP studies to enhance future exploration as a student. My personality is characterized by patience, honesty, as well as being reliable and cooperative. As a tutor, I have learned to handle my position with authority as I gain the respect of other students. For every three days every month, I gather younger students for tutoring services it enhances me to reaches out in inspiring other learners to reach their full potential in their academic by providing them with access to exciting, authentic, and a supportive environment that encourages their intellectual development. Additionally, I also did handiwork as human verification for a website three or four times a week. I verified events posted by people and bots in order for the public to receive accurate knowledge. The role required an individual who could work quickly under pressure as more is expected from them and one who can deal with obstacles as they come. Furthermore, the position required less room for error during sessions, which left a key role to enforce my ability to communicate logically. My determination is also quality that I believe makes me a certified applicant for NHS. Tennis has frustratingly taught me that hard work is need to get better. Being inducted into the National Honors Society is what I have been waiting for. Becoming a member is nothing more than a dream come true, and I appreciate it greatly. As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. When I was a part of National Junior Honor Society I accepted as many opportunities as I could; I participated in activities such as: spray painting recycling trash cans, painting recycling boxes, sorting paper after school, and ringing the bell at Christmas time for the Salvation Army while singing Christmas carols. Furthermore, I should be a National Honor Society member because I make the right choices in everyday life. Many students all over the country make the choice to use drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, but I can honestly say that I do not use any of these substances. Not only are these a danger to personal health but they are a danger to the health of the people around them, and every person making the choice to stay away from these substances keeps the society a little safer and a little healthier. Overall, my academic excellence, ambition, and ability to make impeccable decisions show that I would be an exceptional member of the NHS.
National Junior Honor Society as a nation premier organization started to recognize outstanding middle-level students. NJHS is a way to honor students who have demonstrated an extraordinary amount of excellence in the areas of the five pillars which are, scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. This organization that was started in 1929 is a great opportunity for me to show my family and teachers how hard I work to get this far.
