I know that physical therapist have to be passionate and have the drive to help people recover. They have to be strong enough and be there for someone regaining their strength. I know that physical therapists have to always be on the top of their game and always have that knowledge of the human body accessible in their brain. Physical therapy in my own words is helping patients in many different places to regain, maintain, and improve their strength with many different issues. When I interviewed Mr. Dave Davis, he gave me actual exercises and knowledge needed in the job. These consisted anywhere from joint manipulation and stretching to posture and nutrition. In one of my articles it said “Physical therapy is a clinical health science.” This means that physical therapists have to have plenty of knowledge on subjects such as anatomy, neuroscience, and physiology so they can make sure the work they’re doing with their patients is necessary to help them …show more content…

I now know that physical therapy occurs in many different settings, and that job security is eminent. I learned that the process of getting your physical therapy degree is very tough, but if you really want to be in this field you have to be willing to stick it out. I learned that the pay is pretty good, and the benefits are great. A couple downsides to this field is that a minimum of seven years of college is expensive and will be in debt, but most people are after college anyways. I learned that physical therapy is a women dominated occupation, and I find this to be very comforting if I chose to pursue this
