Hunting is a time honored tradition that has been around millions of years dating all the way back to the Paleolithic period, additionally it is also a sport that is in one’s own view rewarding, that bestow an electrifying challenge for the hunter. In the wilderness, the problems of overpopulation are species is often solved by growth in population of predators. In the absence of predators, animals have freedom to all resources and tend to overpopulate. This is where seasonal population control hunting plays its part. Animal overpopulation in some areas is wrecking nature. In some areas of overpopulation, food is becoming limited and animals have started to eat endangered plants and other vegetation that they would normally not. Animals also cause a lot of headache along our nation's freeways and for many farmers. For example, deer overpopulation has been a growing problem in the last couple of years, some deer population solutions are to trap and relocate, but this is like trapping and relocating mice, no place wants more deer. And many deer die during that transfer process. The only plausible solution to this is to trap and kill or bait using sharpshooters. Yes, hunting requires for a person to shoot a clueless animal doing its day to day activities, but this is why a hunter’s safety course has to be taken in order to even shoot legally. It not only prepares the hunter for a kill, it also shows how to do it the most humane way possible. The course provides in detail of the different types of hunting seasons that are available, what can be killed during that season, how many can be killed during that season per person. But the law doesn’t go out hunting alongside someone, so how does the law get enforced? Easy, each hunter before the season must sign up to receive tags that have to be put on the animal after a kill, Local wild life law enforcements will check these tags frequently to make sure there is no overkill which would result in jail time and major fines and the right to ever hunt again. These hunting license and equipment bought by hunters help contribute to state and federal governments to help maintain parks, refuges, and the staff needed to provide a safe environment for both game and non-game species. It raises awareness about the environment and it really teaches one to do their part to keep it around as long as possible.
