The Roman Empire was a very successful territory in the beginning. All free-born males enjoyed the right to vote, during Augustus’ reign he created a very strong and victorious government. The empire was also very successful for its military strategies. Furthermore, the economy of the Roman empire grew stronger. But unfortunately like other civilizations it eventually declined and did not become a very successful empire anymore. To begin with, Rome had a lot of Financial and economic issues according to BrainPop. For example, emperors of Rome would often suborn soldiers with money to make sure they remain or become respectful and loyal soldiers of the Roman empire. Emperors of the Roman empire would eventually not have enough money to pay back their armed forces. This would cause the emperors to manufacture cheap silver coins to give back to their armed forces. This caused the value of Rome to descend. The emperors also wasted lots of money on parties and festivals. All of this would eventually created Food failure to lots of people and a huge amount of high unemployment. …show more content…

The military began to weaken and become lazy which caused the invaders to come inside of the empire. When the invaders came, they did not have a very high chance of winning the big clash. Invaders such as the Huns who were a group of foreign invaders who were very ignorant and didn’t know the right from the wrong. Also, they also were very dependent on their horses and were very poor at first but when they invaded Rome and there Army wasn’t doing their job of protecting the Roman empire hey won and became much more successful.
