President John F. Kennedy was mercilessly assassinated leaving the nation with just one question: “Was it a conspiracy, or was Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone?” Investigation has not yet been able to shed light on the subject; however, resilient views are being expressed about which theory is accurate. The public has argued about whether or not political figures worked with Oswald to eliminate Kennedy. It is hard to believe that anyone would attempt to murder an individual of such high importance without assistance of those close to the target; therefore, a popular opinion is that the CIA and Secret Service were involved. This, however, is not the only conspiracy theory in regards to the assassination. Although many people have a strong …show more content…

Detectives have intently scanned Kennedy’s autopsy and expressed, “…the fatal shot entered the president’s head from the front, not the back” (Rockwood). Oswald was positioned on the sixth floor in the building directly behind the motorcar at the moment Kennedy was shot. Although the President’s head was also penetrated in the back, the fatal blow entered from the front; therefore, conspiracy is a likely depiction. The guns were most likely shot simultaneously, considering that only two explosions were heard, yet more than two bullets were actually shot. Two assassins are required in order to launch two bullets at the same time from opposite angles. Nix’s location would have allowed him to film everything. The quality of the film was most likely great considering how close he was to the commotion. He turned it into the authorities to prove that Oswald was not alone, however, when they returned the film, parts of it were edited out; the parts that could end all conspiracies on the matter. Because the evidence was cut, an interview was conducted. Nix indicated, “He told us there was another gunman over there [on the grassy knoll]," (Moyer). Everyone present during the shooting fell to the ground in fright, but Nix kept his camera rolling. He caught another person coming out of the same building Oswald was in, with a gun in his hand. Nix clearly knew exactly what he saw because he began the theory of another man helping Oswald kill the president. There was evidence to prove that Oswald was not alone when Nix caught a man on camera in the action of shooting
