In one’s lifetime, he or she will see the world change; right now, the world is constantly changing due to advancements in technology. Older generations feel that by the time they learn and understand one type of technology, a newer, better model comes out. The newer generations, Millennials and Boomlets, are constantly adapting and learning with the new technology. This fast changing technology will change the way that they attain jobs and how they will work in the workforce. This ability is essential to having a job in the real world, especially one that uses technology. The classroom needs to change by revamping what is being taught, adjusting how it is taught, and increasing the technology in the classroom. The education system needs to continue to teach these subjects in the classroom on a daily basis, but needs to be updated. The current education system is great at teaching and mastering the concepts, but there is a gap between the concepts, and how it is applied in the real world. Twenty- first century students need the skills developed at school to be more equipped for the increase in AI in the job market. Cognitive skills, problem solving and critical thinking; interpersonal skills, presentation and conflict resolution; and intrapersonal skills, adaptability and self-management, are all important skills to know with developing and working with AI (Woolf 5).
