HEALTH IS HAPPINESS

Our goal is the wellness of Feeney Foods employees

CHALLENGE Feeney Foods wants to be a health conscious workplace and we want employees to strive for better health. We would like to achieve an 80% participation goal. The old proverb health is happiness means a great deal to our organization and we are hoping it will to you as well.

WORK & HEALTH
We feel a healthier work environment will improve employee happiness and overall productivity

EXERCISE & NUTRITION ARE IMPORTANT
We are a leading food wholesaler, and as a team we should set an example for the importance of exercise and good nutrition.

OBJECTIVES
Better Health
• Three new programs o Exercise classes, Nutrition monitoring, & Smoke-cessation classes

Employee Happiness & Productivity
• Anonymous feedback program to monitor effectiveness of initiatives
• This program will also allow suggestions for further health and wellness based initiatives
• Better communication throughout Feeney Foods o A common goal will help bring Feeney employees together o Monitoring of programs will allow open communication within the work place
• Research indicates good health increases happiness o Happiness is mind, health, and body o Increased happiness is good for morale which increases productivity

Reducing Healthcare Costs
• Better health initiatives will greatly reduce healthcare costs
• This cost reduction will benefit all employees
• Allow more programs and betterment options to come available
