“Harmony”, what we define as the stepping stone of a new system or an epoch, holds a remarkable significance to our lives and daily activities. Beyond the word’s denotation lies a connotative power which we are oblivious to. It does not only apply on the citizens of a country, rather, it comprises of entire system we are currently residing on ranging from the relationship among different minds, the ecosystem and even our own body. How is it that harmony in diversity plays a vital role to the country? Why must we cast away our dissimilarity for the sake of humankind even though it contradicts with our respective beliefs? Why are we to accept the unacceptable, just for the sake of harmony? Only with harmony are we able to attain a sense of peace …show more content…

Economically, more investors would be willing to enter the country. Having high hopes of achieving Wawasan 2020, the increment of investors would be able to bring more wealth for the country, resulting in development of the country. The younger working class will no longer rely on their parents for financial support as there will be more job opportunities. From the political point of view, the citizens will be treated justly and equally. Realizing from profound insight, we could fully comprehend why harmony within politics is indeed of great importance in order to achieve a stable economy. Social wise, Malaysians would be able to live in a peaceful country whereby they do not have to keep their guards up at all times whilst threading on the “territories” of other races. Instead, by embracing the harmonious relationship between individual ethnic groups, they will learn how to love one another and most importantly their country. To reiterate, harmony within diversity is the fundamental of a strong country. In addition, diversity within the country piques the interests of tourists. Relishing on the thought, they will be awed by the varying activities of different races such as open houses and parades. The mystifying shows and events held would embed sweet and satisfying memories in their minds.
