You are walking in the school hallways, passing the principal's office to get to class. You cannot help but notice that there is loud yelling in the closed off doors called the principal's office. When you walk back from class you notice the principal hanging his head low and leaving the building with all his stuff. Later that day you see on the school’s webpage saying that there is a new principal wanted. But who could be the next best principal at this school? That’s why I am here to tell you, that Hades the Greek god would be the next best principal. Hades is the god of the dead, ruler of underworld, and god of wealth. He has a three headed dog named cerberus and a wife name persephone. He is a brother to Zeus, Poseidon, Hera, and hestia. …show more content…

Hades made sure that his realm was in good shape and“presided over funeral rites and defended the right of the dead to due burial” (Aaron J ). One of Hades main personalities is being assertive. He is a good ruler of the underworld and is very harsh to souls trying to escape the underworld and he makes sure everything goes right in the underworld. Clearly, this demonstrates how assertive Hades can be and how he can control things when he wants to, which is an important asset for being a principal. Hades has been confident in whatever decision he makes, so it shouldn’t be a problem at the school making no decisions. From the start of his life, Hades has proven to be a very reasonable god due to many different reasons. He has done more tasks/things that would be considered good decisions than bad ones. Some say he’s actually the most reasonable Greek god because “ he let Orpheus get his wife back after she died, he let Hercules take Cerberus as long as Cerberus wasn't hurt, and he hardly interferes with mortals” (Keiji). As much as people say that Hades is so unfair and a horrible god, he is actually pretty reasonable and he goes with the flow a lot. Being reasonable as a principal is very important. When kids are feeling down or they need a little help behaving, principals need to be strict, but reasonable. Hades can be strict and serious, but his reasonable personality keeps him from going over the top. When Hades and his 2 brothers won the war, Hades got tricked and was having to rule the underworld, but instead of fighting for it, he just went with the flow, which shows he’s reasonable. Hades got the “horrible” realm that nobody else wanted “which resulted in becoming lord of the underworld and ruler of the dead”(“Hades”). This shows that although Hades got one of the crudest realms, he didn’t fight for it in any way at all. He just instead took pride in what he does and ruled
