Grease the hit music sensation of the late 70’s and early 80’s took the Hollywood industry by storm. Not only is Grease a classic, but it was the start of theme of high school musicals. There is an enormous amount differences between Grease One and Grease two, it’s almost heart breaking. The music and theme are completely different it’s difficult to tell that it’s a Grease sequel. In Grease one the music was Catchy and relatable, with every verse there was a connection with some part of my life. The song Summer Days is the perfect song for reminiscing over a crush or dream guy. Thinking of long romantic hours spent together. When I think of Summer Nights I think of a romantic summer fling that could have last together. Another one of my favorite song that I can relate too is You’re the One That I Want. That song is like a good girl turned bad anthem; that song gives girls “She’s all that” vibe. Point is the songs that they …show more content…

So basically the movie still had the Pinks ladies and the T-birds but all the characters were switched around. The main Pink lady was over being a Pink Lady and was over being with the main T-Bird. So the whole movie she’s looking for what she calls a “Cool Rider”. Then ends up discovering it was the nerd guys she’s been rejecting all year, which also happens to be Sandys cousin from Grease one. Wasn’t really much to the movie other than corny romance movie.
Grease is a beautiful musical, but sometimes two isn’t better than one. For die hard Grease fans is was truly sad to see how much of a disappointment Grease two was. The music in Grease two doesn’t even compare to the music in Grease one, even the theme of the two were completely different. They could at least be somewhat similar so that I could tell it’s a Grease sequel. Grease two was kind of like a reject version of the first Grease. I just strongly feel that Grease two was awful, and Grease one will always be one of the best
