Grammar is one area that everybody takes for granted. First I would like to explain how these two employers feel about the importance of good grammar. Next, I will talk about what I have learned about what kind of grammar I need in my future career field. Last, I will discuss what I need to do to get my grammar up to a professional level. After reading these articles, it made me realized how much grammar really matter. Never thought that, 45% of companies is requiring additional grammar training. (Adams) I am starting to understand that grammar is more than writing a paper, it can tell the other reader so much about you. Since times has changed and the internet is taking over, your grammar use, is all you have to introduce yourselves to the reader, or readers. Showing good grammar show the readers that you have taken the time out to proof read and make sure your reading is at a professional level. (Adams) Now a lot of employers are starting to have a Zero tolerance approach. (Weins) So even if, I am qualified to do the job, or have more experience than other applicants, I will not get it because my grammar is not up to a professional level.
