GOOD TEAMMATES
You choose. Would you like a teammate who, if you fell, picks you up like he just dropped his phone, without hesitation, or a teammate you says it was his fault anyway for falling? It’s obvious, you chose the teammate who helps you and has your back. A great teammate is someone who helps pick up your confidence after a bad game. Great teammates also have something in common, they listen. I know you think someone else listening isn’t going to make you any better, but it definitely does. If the teammate listens to what the coach has to say and how the systems work, you will both be on the same page and be able to work toward the same goals. Also if the teammate listens, they will pass you the puck when you call for it up high or when you come off the ice and you make your own little plan with your …show more content…

A good teammate isn’t just someone who is good on the ice and on the bench, it’s someone who is a good person off the ice too. This means helping to pick up the dressing room and not making a mess in the room, the arena or the bus for others to clean up. They don’t bring up negative stuff, but they do make sure to celebrate after a nice goal, or any goal for that matter. They congratulate you if you make a good play or get selected to an All Star team for your league, just nice and supportive people. To be an excellent teammate, you don’t have to be the best player on the team. I could care less, but if they work as hard as they can and are not selfish, it’s fun to play with them. Treating everyone the same on the team is also a major component to being a great teammate. I don’t like it when people are just nice to their buddies, or previous teammates, I like it when someone is nice to everyone and distributes the puck evenly to everyone to give them the same chance. To add to that, I would like a teammate who doesn’t take dumb penalties and
