How God Is Revealed
There are ways God is revealed to us humans. From those ways we can find our own identity. One way God is revealed is through the Trinity. The creed, Incarnation, and God’s miracles help us find God’s identity. If God is revealed through the Trinity we can use his identity to find our own because we are made in his image.
The Trinity is the central mystery in the Catholic faith(CCC,#261). The Trinity is three persons in one. The trinity can be thought as three expressions. God the Father who is beyond us and he is beyond our limit of human nature. God the Son, who is among us and came down to save us from sin. He takes our human nature and he is fully divine. The Trinity reveals God in the Incarnation. The Incarnation is Mary being conceived by the Holy Spirit. God the Holy Spirit is revealed by impregnating Mary. Through God and his powers he made God the Son. The Pope talked about the catechesis meaning of Incarnation, comparing Adam to Jesus and calling him the second Adman. This was a new beginning and God’s plan being fully revealed as a human. In the Nicene Creed his unity is revealed once again. God the Father is the maker of heaven and earth.
