Framework of the Study Human differentiation on the basis of gender is a fundamental phenomenon that affects virtually every aspect of people’s daily lives (Bussey and Bandura, 1999). Most youth are gradually building self-esteem and establishing an identity, some sexual minority adolescents are learning from peers and adults that they are amongst the most hated in society (Cohen and Williams, 1996) One of the most developmental tasks in adolescence is the formation of an adult identity: the integration of cognitive, emotional and social factors related to gender-identity, gender role, sexual orientation, and personality into self-concept. During early middle adolescence was labeled “identity confusion” a perception of being sexually different emerges then, based on the awareness of same-sex arousal. The absence of heterosexual arousal possibly experiences same sex. Stigma, ignorance, and misinformation about homosexuality can lead to a significant turmoil and anxiety during this period.
