You might graduate from high school and think you know what you want to major in but you really don't know so that why you take a gap year off. It will be hard going from one place to another without learning how to live alone and provide for yourself. Even if you learn how to do that. Are you able to budget? Take the gap year to give yourself time to learn all these things. Take the gap year and live life to the fullest go on trips and get out of your comfort zone and help develop your inner self. High school graduates should take a year off before going to college because they will have a chance to find their hidden passions, to learn independence and maturity and to live life to the fullest.
