Chapter 15 --Flights of Fancy. In the movie Peter Pan, Peter sprinkles fairy dust and flies away to Neverland. Neverland is an imaginary place very faraway.place. It’s where Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, the Lost Boys and other mythical creatures live. It’s considered a safe place for them. This flight represents escape and freedom by the Peter Pan, the children and all his friends being free from the real world. Being able to still hold onto their precious childhood. In a song by Ruth B. called Lost boy, she sings the line “He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe, Believe in him and believe in me. Four different aspects of a literary work that Foster would classify under geography are it’s ability to define a character, having the ability to play a specific role in the plot, it’s ability to help the character, and it’s ability to represent a symbol in the literary work. The novel, The Great Gatsby gives many examples of each of these aspects. Tom and his wife Daisy can be mostly classified by their geographical location. The couple lives in the East Egg part of Long Island, NY. Along with that, they are living a very rich and lavish lifestyle. On the other hand Daisy’s cousin Nick, and Gatsby lives in the West Egg part of Long Island, NY, with a far more toned down lifestyle. All of their geographical locations reflect off of their personalities and lifestyles. It also creates the development of each of their characters. …show more content…

Later on he went to learn the truth about this parents and the background of the scar. When he enters the wizard world, everybody notices his scar. He becomes insecure about his scar and tries to hide it, along with his famous identity. Harry Potter's lightning shaped scar separates him from all of the magicians in the wizard world, it symbolizes power and authority. He is the chosen one out of all the wizards. This made his an immediate target for most of the other skeptical characters in the literary work. Also in order for Harry to do what he was intended to he had to learn and understand his importance in the wizard world, long with the narrative. Blemishes like scars on a character, can create a divergence that the character has to come to an understanding
