Modern gadgets, electronic devices, and snassy applications(known as “apps”) is the new coffee- very available and highly addictive. Fitbit, a device used on your wrist to track your activity level and sleep patterns. Schools should have these “fitbits” to insure that children get enough physical activity and sleep for studying. The Fitbit is useful to students in a few ways. The prices are reasonable given the results. For example, at LakeWood High School in St. Petersburg Fla. administrators are using the Alta Fitbit for students and getting positive results. Students say that they wanted to eat better and lose weight. Fitbit can also be used to help students get more rest.
