The fire service administration fosters besides providing fire prevention and safety education programs in partnership with other federal interventions, fire and emergency reaction teams, local media, and related fire aversion and safety individuals. It also works together with the public and private entities to stimulate and develop fire prevention and life safety by research, testing and evaluation (Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997)
For the most part, the municipal council set up and subsidizes fire divisions to provide local fire protection and also take preventive roles. That is achieved by gathering data about each fire office to assess service levels and provide the accompanying help. Such include; training for firefighters and other fire division faculty, conducting seminars and materials on understanding administered commitments. In addition, it issue programs, assets and rules for the fire division administration, firefighter wellbeing, hazard examination, fire counteractive action, state funded instruction, volunteer enrollment, ace fire arranging and fire insurance besides professional improvement courses, media relations instruments and open administration declarations(The Annotated Ontario Fire Code & Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997).
