Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to become rich and famous. I know, who doesn’t right? I dreamt about having everything I have always wanted such as video games, movies, new technology, and even books. My way of getting there was becoming a well-known and high-paid actor. Then it became an Author, Fashion Designer, Interior Designer, Musician, Screenwriter, Video Game Creator, and finally a Film Director. It made perfect sense, since I always liked being behind the camera and loved making short films with my family. However, I decided between producing summer blockbusters or films that actually had message. I finally made my decision when several films affected me personally and reconstructed my perspective of the world. I’ve seen films about single, homeless immigrant mothers who have no money and seeing their children’s eyes sparkle when they there’s an aluminum can on the curb of the street. Films have the ability to have positive messages and spread it around the world within weeks to millions of people. Films have the ability to take issues and place them on a screen. They revolutionize pop culture. I believe my talent in filming is what I’m suppose to do and my ability to help the world is what I am here for. Films are my passion. Films can also save people’s lives. I know this because one particular film saved me. It helped me through my lowest moment in my life. At that moment, I felt as if I shouldn’t have never been born. I contemplated on ending my own life and that nobody would care if I was gone. On the 24th of March 2016, I had found hope and happiness in my life. Watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice sparked a fire in me to help people like me. I fell in love with the film. It evolved my life.
