What type of leader do you want to represent our cities, states, and quite possibly our country? Would you want a leader that pals around with everyone and tries to make everyone happy and meet everyone’s needs just so they can have the popular vote? Or would you rather have someone that does tend to have some antisocial behaviors but keeps his close-knit circle closely knit? What about having a president that will do what he believes is right rather than what his peers believe to be right? Would you rather have a leader or just another follower of the mainstream? These are the questions you need to be asking yourself when it comes down to picking a leader. Introverts also tend to work in solitude with little appearances at out of work gatherings that occur within the community. Introverts also are not likely to be the first to volunteer for something like a project or assignment unless it is necessary to get done and it has yet to be volunteered for. Introverts also have the ability to concentrate and use their problem solving skills so when they do take on projects or assignments will be precisely planned with many details and at the same time they will be very well thought out. Introverts have realistic views on their abilities and are okay with them. So they don’t tend to try and push things to far or to the breaking point. This then gives them the ability to have tremendous amounts of patience in order to get a job done and done well. ("Introverts and Extroverts”) Extrovert leaders are a majority of our elected presidents throughout our countries history. Nearly 3/4th’s of our presidents throughout the lifespan of our country have been extroverted leaders so that only leaves 1/4th to be introverted.
