In the great country of the United States there are thousands of wonderful places to vacation. These places can range anywhere from the great state parks of the northwest to the hundreds of beaches among the coastline. There are two places that come to mind though when considering the best place to vacation. These two places are Panama City Beach and The Great Smoky Mountains. It is not just the common things such as a beach or huge mountains that make these two places stand out among others. It is, however, the amazing destinations that these two places offer to anyone that chooses one them to vacation at. When it comes to Panama City Beach, places such as Shell Island, Shipwreck Island, and Pier Park guarantee an extravagant vacation. Locations such as these are what make Panama City Beach flourish among other beaches. In the Great Smoky Mountains, standout spots such as Cades Cove, the city of Gatlinburg, and Ober Gatlinburg are what give this destination its amazing reputation among others. When vacationing at one of these locations, a bad time is almost impossible to run into.

Although these things can be done in most of the United States, there is nothing like the Florida sun beating down on ones brow while the warm wind whips through their hair. Families have the opportunities to do whatever they desire regardless of age. Shell Island is a place for families to interact and have fun with each other while taking a break from worldly things. Shipwreck Island is a water park that is full of excitement and thrill. Another activity would be to go to Pier Park to shop and to eat dinner at some very popular restraints. All of these things contribute to the reason of why vacationing at Panama City Beach is perfect for myself. Nevertheless both of these wonderful vacation spots would be perfect for anyone interested in an unforgettable experience.
I have been to Florida a billion times, but there are only two places that I normally visit. Sanibel Island and Destin. Traveling to Sanibel Island is almost like a tradition for my family because every year we try to go down there. My grandparents first went to Sanibel with my whole family (cousins and all) about 15 years ago and ever since then, it has been our family’s main “vacation spot”. I have gone to Sanibel almost every year, but last year I also went to Destin. Now the main reason we decided to go there as well is because we wanted to travel somewhere nearby the panhandle of Florida. The water and beaches are also very contrasting in comparison to Sanibel. Sanibel’s beaches even had heaps of sea shells going out into the water. The sand is also more dense than that of Destin. Even Sanibel’s water is darker and more cloudy, so it was crazy to see Destin’s water so clear! The beach (which is called Emerald Cove, where I stayed at) had sand that was so white and soft it
Gatlinburg, a town in the Smoky Mountains, is rich with things to do. The city offers a variety of restaurants, lodging, entertainment, and marriage facilities. Gatlinburg is a nice city to visit although it can cost quite a bit of money. This has become a common place of visit for East Tennessee State University students and others.

These beaches provide a place of rest and relaxation from the minute person steps on to one. One in particular that is the most famous of all of Puerto Rico would the Flamenco beach. This is the most attractive. The sand is warm as the summer sun and so soft your feet just sink. The water is crystal blue and shimmers as the sun sets on it. Even as the sun sets you can still see the coral reef with a spectrum of colors throughout these reefs house exotic fish and birds.
My favorite part about the Island is the activities and most of them are very exciting. When you first get there you learn about turtles in a game called turtle hurdles and the education around it is that throw away your trash and you will save many species of the oceanic life. You also are able to do kayaking and snorkeling and if the waters and good and not choppy you’ll see a lot of fish, and on the last day you will have a kayaking race if you don’t want to kayak you can run. Something that changed my life there about see the world is the trust walk and you put on a blindfold and walk for about five to eight minutes and when you are finished you will talk about why you did it and what it meant to you. These are the activities and there is a fish lab, a bird lab, and squid dissection you might think it is gross or it might not be. The activities are spread throughout the time on the camp so have

This tiny island is located off the southernmost part of Florida is the only true tropical island in the United States. Thousands of people from all over the world come to Key West every year for the relaxing lifestyle and rich culture. As well as being rich in culture it is rich in history too. Key West has also been the home to many great authors and artists and is known for having a very diverse population.
In all of my travels across the United States of America, the `hottest' vacation spot hands down is in Key West, Florida and the `coolest' place to travel to is Denali National Park in Denali, Alaska. These vacation destinations are the two most beautiful and most relaxing places in the nation! I personally have experienced a week of enjoyment at both locations and find myself wanting to go back to each of them in the future because I had such a great time. Even though these are both awesome places to spend a week of vacation time, they differ in weather and climate patterns, they each have unique attractions and activities to do, and both vary in travel costs and various other expenses.

Beautiful white sand coming from Santa Monica, Long Beach and Big Sur. All types of people from the state of California to people from Florida enjoy California beaches. Some even like to hang loose and surf on the waves coming off the coast. Incredible evenings make families in California come together to watch the sun set. Florida beaches are not just well known in the USA but all around the world. Beaches that come to mind are Miami, Clearwater, and Sarasota beach. Miami beach is considered one of the “sexiest beaches in America.” With all the parties thrown on the beach, spring break is a local one stop for students that are coming out of Miami University. Clearwater beach, years ago, was ranked as the number one beach on the planet, with its white powdery sand and super clear water. Vacation is the one thing that people look forward to throughout the year. People usually think of it as a time to relax, unwind, and enjoy an amazing tropical getaway. Maybe it’s chilling at the beach or taking the night out, vacation is always something fun for anyone. Imagine yourself soaking in the sun, laying by the shore, breathing in the salty air, and laying under a palm tree. People can experience this all right along the island of Key West. If you're a nature lover, Ober Gatlinburg might be the perfect place for you. The Smoky Mountains are right next door, and their spectacular views, rich wildlife and long hiking trails are all but guaranteed to leave you speechless. Gatlinburg itself is filled with fun places to visit, such as Ripley's Aquarium and Odditorium, the Sky Lift, and the many shopping malls and museums. During the winter season, the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park & Ski Area is a must visit for anyone interested in ski sports.
As I walk towards the ocean with the sand warm beneath my feet, the waves lap at my ankles, seeming as if they want to pull me out to sea. The sun rises over the horizon, reflecting off the waves and shimmering like gold. The salt air smells tangy as it stings my nose with the smell I crave while I am away from the ocean. The Outer Banks in North Carolina has been my favorite place to go from my first memories. I look forward to going there every summer because there at the ocean I feel at home. It is a place where I can forget every stress in my life and be totally at peace. It is a place where my family can spend time together, not like at home where we all have activities and places to be. The Outer Banks is not a beach where the ocean is forgotten; there is no partying and no boardwalks, nothing but nature to fill your days there. The beach is not crowded to the point where it is hard to even walk to the beach ,and looking for shells is not even an option. This beach is a very peaceful and surreal place. The noises of people do not overwhelm you at this beach; all you can hear are the sea gulls and the waves.
The isle of Barbados lush with a wide range of beaches that is quite exquisite and enjoyable as beach holidays on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Some of the beaches that are really amazing and enjoyable are Bottom Bay, Dover Beach, Bathsheba Beach, Crane Beach, Accra Beach, Paynes Beach and tons of others with mesmerizing coastal view and tremendous beach parties.
