The Creoles were the Spanish ancestry born in the new world. The people who had control over them treated them horribly due to the fact that they weren’t natives. The question everyone asks is, “Why did the Creoles lead the fight against the spanish?” They lead the fight because they were fighting for their independence, they also wanted political power. In addition, they had economic problems due to fees.
Nationalism is based on the premise that individuals loyalty and devotion like a sort of feeling, patriotism and more about your pride, beliefs , effort . all of them feel really strong in connections “... we are struggling to maintain ourselves in the country that gave us birth against the opposite of the invaders.” ( A ) The creoles wanted to be known in Latin America, but many of the people that had power over them treated them poorly because they weren't Natives. “The Ceoles were a mixure spiees of aborigines and spanishards” (A), They were the second highest class but the peninsulares had a much higher percentage of population. The support in there country was hard, they also felt that the spanish was taking advantage of there hard work and effort, preventing them from having enough. Economic problems were hard for the creoles. They wanted to protect themselves from the invaders. “The creoles has growing economic and social influences, but the peninsulares monopolized all administrative positions” (B) The peninsulares had 87 judgeships and creoles only had 12. They struggled due to taxes and fees. The creoles were forced by their own government to sell their products at low prices and buy there needs at a higher price.
