The acronym IEP stands for Individualized Education Program. An IEP is a written document that sets attainable learning goals for a child with disabilities, as well as states the services that are needed for the student to attain their learning goals. The IEP process is a seven-part process. The process is initiated through multiple pre-referral interventions.
