When you do not like the environment where you work, going there every day can be a hell of a challenge. You may have problems with a toxic leader who constantly makes you feel ready to explode, or you may resent the fact of feeling professionally stagnant in the department you work in, or maybe the general environment is simply too unhealthy for you. Whatever the reasons preventing you from leaving this unhappy place, you must always maintain a noble professional conduct and stay alert for any inappropriate behavior that may harm you. Create a table with all your duties and obligations arranged in order of priority. This prevents you from forgetting things and gives you sense of control. Be proactive in the workplace. Discuss your ideas with friends you trust and with the family itself. If there is anything you'd improve, evaluate whether your boss is open to discuss it. If so, assess what would be the best tactic to address it. Propose suggestions, and discuss how they could improve performance (among other things). Perhaps HR can also help you to find another position within the company. A position in which your profile best fits. Let others assist you in search for a better work/personal life balance. Diversify your skills and interests - You could also try to learn a new skill. At worst, this will help you to find a new job opportunity.
