I believe we all have the choice as to whether we fulfill our destiny, but our fate is sealed.”(Coelho) Romeo and Juliet is a famous play about two people that fall in love by fate. Fate means to have your choices given to you by destiny. Throughout the course of this story there are many fates that decide Romeo’s and Juliet’s choices. For example when Romeo and Juliet fall in love. The choices that were made in this story were made by fat not free will or choice.. It was fate when mercurito yelled out a curse on both houses when he got mad in act 3 scene 1, ( Shakespear). Mercurito said “ I am hurt, A plague a’ both your houses! I am sped. Is he gone and hath nothing”. It was fate that Mercurito said that because it foreshadows something

Meanwhile, in act 3 scene 1 Benvolio and Mercuito are calling the Capulets names and trying to insult them and when Tybalt trys to start a fight and apparently succeeds. Mercurito then dies during the fight. After that Tybalt tybalt is still mad so he comes after romeo, then Romeo draws his sword and kills Tybalt. Fate caused this because it is going to cause something later in the play. Next in act 3 scene 2 Juliet is waiting on top of her balcony for Romeo to come visit but then the nurse then comes in and trys to tell Juliet the news of the fight between Romeo, Tybalt, and Mercurito, but she makes it seem like Romeo is dead. Later she finds out that Tybalt is dead but Romeo is alive but banished. This was also fate because it was destined to
