An example of this is when you place new protocols for treating a child with asthma by using reliable research with the new studies, and treatment for treating asthmatic children that has effective results. But, you come to find out after doing follow up with your providers they inform you that the new protocol was only making it harder to treat and care for the patients. Failure may have set you back. But, on a situation like this you must listen to your provider and support staff to make improvements with the changes that were implemented. With each failure, you have more reliable resources to base new ideas and treatment. This helps in improving upon the patient care and treatment while continually making advancements in patient care with no patients harmed.
