Piglet, from Winnie the Pooh, once noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude. I feel as though my childhood favorite so perfectly showed us that we always have time in our life to look back on it and give praise to God. It is important to show your gratitude towards others so that they can know how appreciated they are. In today’s day and age people get so wrapped up with how much they have that they forget the value of actual people. I try to always be satisfied with what I have because I know that in the grand scheme of things of I am so very blessed. I have always been most thankful for all of my family especially my extended family, immediate family, and second family. I have been …show more content…

They’re always there to love me, push me to new levels, and spend time together. Whenever I’m with my family, even if we are teasing and being sarcastic with each other, there's no denying the underlying feeling of absolute love. I especially am thankful of how well I get along with my sister. We need rough house or have rivalries and if we do they are all in good fun. She always is helping maneuver the feats of middle school from small things like what to wear to if someone hurt my feelings. My Family also is always pushing me to try my absolute hardest in every way. They help me do all of my homework or work out when to get it done if I’m staying up too late. In my honors classes I can go from dissecting a cow eyeball in science to typing conclusions in math to learning about ancient islam in social studies. Most kids don’t like their school and I have the privilege of waking up every day and getting excited to put on my uniform. Another thing I love about St. Anne's is that they give me the opportunity to expand my right brain as well as my left. Every morning I start my day with zero period art and different electives such as writing in response to rock ‘n’ roll and sculpture. In these classes I am able to use my creativity to show my emotions and thoughts in a beautiful way. I also love doing future problem solvers and have since third grade. The rush of the competition and ability to try to judge and reform aspects of our society is something that really sets St. Anne’s apart. In all of my classes they challenge me to do my best and find different ways to complete a task. We have the privilege to learn curriculum up 3 grade levels above ours. I love that every student can progress at their own pace while still feeling challenged by their teachers. Another thing that
