Looking at the whole scale of child abuse globally is important, but the greatest impacts come from within each community the abuse is happening in.. Even in small communities like that of Marietta,GA, there are still reported cases of child abuse and teachers must know how to effectively deal with those situations while still holding an ethical standard. Every teacher needs to know the warning signs of abuse so that they can properly report it when discovered. Teachers have an ethical responsibility to provide children with the opportunity to obtain the best education possible. With the amount of responsibilities and moral duties a teacher has for his or her students, the issue will only become more and more prevalent. Teacher standards and the qualifications to be a teacher have become more complex over the years because teachers have such a high value to children throughout any number of years. Then adding in the situation of abuse a teacher must be fully prepared and knowledgeable enough on the subject to be able to correctly handle it as to not make the child go through any more trauma than has already happened. There are more and more abuse cases each year, and with so many children going in and out of schools it is a necessity that teachers know all the warning signs and behavior to help with the problem as soon as possible. Abuse is not confined to one specific area, it has a range of different forces but and ethically and moral teacher will not let that affect the way in which they treat a child. A teacher should treat all of his or her students with the utmost respect and not create any disturbances in the classroom environment by treating students to a different standard than the rest. Many children depend on teachers to help guide them and start a successful path for their future, but by creating a frenzied learning environment it is very hard for students to get the learning needed. Through this paper I’ve explored many concepts that go into early childhood. This research has helped me grow into how I would know consider ethical issues regarding children.Although after taking the pathway classes that did give me a great base knowledge, actually going out and finding real issues myself helped me greatly. There are multiples facts I never would have thought to consider with children,because so many people are involved in the processes that help them throughout their school lives. Ethical dilemmas involving children from what I had found can be very tricky but through doing this paper , my mindset has changed and my growth has helped me acknowledge all of those
