Employment, environment and cross cultural implications in ethical decision making
Work of an individual affects greatly his ethical decision making process. Factors like stress of the work, duration and salary play an important role in decision making. If the work is more stressed and employee feels pressure then he cannot make a good decision. Organization culture is likely to have a great impact on decision making. Motivation during work encourages the person to do more and give better decisions. Laws are a part of compliance ethics. So laws have an ability to influence the functioning and behavior of people in business.

Many unethical practices are due to professional environment of business activities. A good and fair professional environment has a great impact on decision making. Work environment is the organization the person works for. Every organization has their own culture and policies like an independent country. These cultures make individuals prone to affect them in decision making. Personal environment means family, peer groups related to the person and his personal life. A successful decision making needs support from family and friends. Since ethical decision making is a function of behavior, the importance of peer and family cannot be neglected. The moral values of a person which is developed during childhood have a great influence on the family background. Legal procedures play an important role in improving ones environment. Special laws should be implemented for the security in the work environment.

Cross cultural differences arise in business every day. It is better to consider cultural differences and inclusion of norms and decisions applicable to all cultures. Avoid maximum cultural discrimination in decision making process. Western system should use a generalizability test. A standard method of decision making should be there.
