In 1820, America's population was 9,638,453 citizens, along with owning 1,749,462 sq. miles of land. Due to the population that continues to grow, America have to find a way to expand more land for more people to live, creating the birth of West World Expansion. From just nine millions people, America tremendously increased to 23 millions citizens in thirty short years.How it explore more and more lands, including new arrivals. In this essay, I will show how America developed and grew because of this event, and how did it start, what kind of events happened, how America is the America today.

To begin with, the idea of West World Expansion were started by a group of people called "Mountain Men", by people who live in the East. These people jobs were to hunt down beaver.Why? Beavers were really demanding during 1800's. Their furs were used as clothing (or hat, blankets, etc.) , which was "fashionable" during that period of time. Mountain Men have to push into the West, since beaver were extinct in Europe and they're also wiped out in the East, due to their popular demand kept rising. Rocky Mountain's beavers were their target. Going on this journey have it own pros and cons for the Mountain Men. First off, they traveled to make money for themselves and their family, and they also tell stories about their journey, which a lot of them were sold in books, making the idea of West World Expansion more popular, inspiring families and people to move to the West for themselves. ...2,000 men and a lot of weapons. The U.S also bombarded city from the sea. They continued to advanced to Mexico City. After a long battle, Mexico City surrendered. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo were signed between the U.S and Mexico on February 2nd. Having the U.S to own California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Texas, while agreeing to have respect on Mexican citizens who is still living in theses states.

All of this events were part of the Expansion, from the start of Mountain Men, to the Mexican-American War. Showing that America has grown and changed tremendously just under a decade. Showing America power and development. How they won many battles and gain the land for themselves. Proving that they're superior, like its their destiny, but it seems like it is. Without these events, America wouldn't be like itself today.
