Introduction:
Suriname officially known as the ‘Republic Of Suriname’, is a country found on the Northeastern Atlantic Coast of South America. The country is bordered by French Guiana to the east, Guyana to the west and Brazil to the south. Being the smallest independent country in South America, Suriname has population of about 573,311 estimated in July 2014. With the amount of population in the country, it has variety of Ethnic Groups which spreads all around the country. Having 37% of Hindustani (East Indians), 31% of Creole, 15% of Javanese, 10% of Marrons, 2% of Amerindian, 2% of Chinese, 1% of White and 2% of Other Ethnic Groups in the population. The country has a total area of 163,820 sq km, it uses 0.36% for Arable Land, 0.04% for Permanent Crops and the remaining 99.6% for other purposes. Suriname having considerable amount of land, has wide spread of Natural Resources which are Timber, Hydropower, Fish, Kaolin, Shrimp, Bauxite, Gold, Small Amounts of Nickel Copper, Platinum and Iron Ore. Having a variety of different Natural Resource, Suriname’s Economy is mainly dominated on the Mining Industry, exporting Alumina, Gold and Oil. Most of the exports coming out from Suriname are Oil, accounting for 85% of the exports in Suriname, giving 25% of the revenue to the Government. But as the Mining Industry is the leading economy for Suriname, the country is highly vulnerable to price volatility making the Suriname’s Economy inconsistent with its export, thus detroiazing Suriname’s Economy as whole. In this case the project which is the solution will help Houses be more affordable so people, wouldn’t live in illegal dwelling areas and also to give them proper facilities. With this project the people who are affected would be given 682 helping payments for their home to fix/extend their houses, this is the solution for the Housing Problem. Lastly the Health Sector of the country, the solution for this problem here is to have a clean range of potential clean drinking water system, water collected with this system would help generally supply the entire community. This water usage would help the population become more hygienic and healthier because of the wide access of water supplying them. These are the current solutions for the problems at hand in Suriname and will help the country improve its problem for the future ahead of them.

The size of Colombia is 1,138,910 square kilometers less than three times the size of the state of Montana. Mainland territory divided into four major geographic regions. Andean highlands are composed of three mountain ranges and overriding valleys and Caribbean lowlands; Pacific lowlands; and llanos and tropical rainforest of Eastern Colombia. Colombia also has small islands in both the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean. Climate in Colombia has unique variety in temperature resulting in changing differences in elevation not much seasonal variation. The rocky terrain cut by large rivers that flow into the Caribbean the Pacific. The Amazon and the Orinoco facilitates the construction of enormous reservoirs, which have steadily increased the country’s generation of energy and supply of drinking water.
Throughout the twentieth century, Rhodesia from 1960’s to the late 1970’s have always been in a struggle to fight for their independence. They had to deal with the British colonist that settled into their land and had taken over control of the country for the past couple of years. Due to the decolonisation of African countries after the second world war it gave many influences and reasons for Rhodesia to search to become an independent country. That all changed when they fully receive their independence in 1980 and during that time they fought for the control of their country, Rhodesia. The name was later changed to Zimbabwe due to a revolutionary struggle they had in their country. There are many legacies of colonialism that impacted the development of Latin American republics. As well, many of these legacies still thrive throughout modern Latin America. A legacy that impacted Latin America and still continues to affect it, is the change that colonialism caused with ancestral knowledge. Before colonialism, many parts of Latin America were inhibited by many tribes such as the Mayans. As colonialism swept through these parts of Latin America, these tribes started to diminish because of the “growing and ecological strains”, when this occurred, tribes disbanded and ceased to continued. Now these societies which once flourished, has not gone back to the way that it once was. One of the most profound legacies is religion in Latin America. The Catholic church had a part in the development of the continent. Missionaries helped build premises such as schools, hospitals and other buildings which benefited the communities. Even with the help they provided, missionaries also did harm. They caused people to change the way the practiced their religion. The aspects of the way religion was practiced before changed for the worst. The people had to entirely alter how they practiced religion and by doing so, many parts of their true identity needed to be forgotten. Lastly, colonialism

The Dominican Republic is a nation located in the Caribbean Sea and shares the land with Haiti, and the whole island is called Hispaniola as it was named when Christopher Columbus discovered it during his first voyage in the year 1492. The country has proved to be one of the leading Caribbean countries with accessible healthcare to its citizens and even expats. However, the country has a multinational population with low-to-medium incomes and multi-level access to healthcare based on income. Despite this, improvements to healthcare system can lead to better medical outcomes to all the citizens and even to the suffering citizens of the Haiti. Because the Dominican Republic is an immediate neighbor to struggling Haiti, it is the moral obligation of the Dominican to provide Haitians with access to healthcare.
I was born in the United Sates, but my parents are from Ecuador. When I was 4 years old my mom decided to go back to Ecuador and built our own house, so we can have a place to live. For many years we have been living in Ecuador and I have loved it all the years I have live there I got use to it. I feel more Ecuadorian that American even though i was born here.

I also feel that these plans can be a major part in developing a better economy and society for the “slum” and middle class communities. It will uplift many neighborhoods and people and to show that we can do something about this problem. Instead of us sitting and looking at the problem getting worse, we have to attend to the problem at hand.
What is one of the biggest problems in Latin America today? Is it the slums that some people live in or the way poor people are treated? Both these ideas connect to Latin America’s largest problem today, the major income gap between the rich and the poor. When people think of Latin America in modern day some will think of the rich citizens who live prosperous lives, but many of them also think of the poor folk who live in slums such like the favelas of Rio. This might not seem like such a big issue to us, but for the people of Latin America this could not only affect their economy, but their politics as well.
Pidgins and creoles are new varieties or types of languages, having developed from the contact between the colonial non-standard varieties of European and non-European languages from around the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific oceans during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. Pidgin languages typically appeared in the trade colonies that had developed in and around existing trade routes, such as the West African coast. Reduced in structures and specialized in function, initially they served as non-native ‘lingua francas’ for those speakers who chose to use their native language for normal every day communications. Some pidgins have been able to expand into regular vernaculars, particularly in urban settings, and are rightfully labeled as ‘expanded pidgins’. An example would be the Pidgin-English from Nigeria or Cameroon, both as structurally complex as creoles.

In the year 2010; 2,376,675 households around South Africa were provided with houses with running water, sanitation and electricity. It is through providing these houses that job opportunities have been provided for the people. The Reconstruction and Development program aims at working together with the people to achieve the goals that have been set out. When participating in social studies class children are learning so much about who they are, where they came from, how to succeed in the world, and more.
