Assessing this quote, “Ultimately, the Civil War reduced sectional antagonism and made the United States truly ‘one nation.” This quote is ethical and reasonable, which defines it as being true. Sectionalism was basically one big dispute in a neighborhood in the U.S. in the mid-1800s. The nation was divided by some lifestyles, attitudes, and interests. The Northerners stayed focused on all businesses and industry. Abraham Lincoln quotes “If I were to try to read, much less answer, all the attacks made on me, this shop might as well be closed for any other business. I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out all right, what's said against me won't amount to anything.
