Life story interview/ project was design for you to get to know a random stranger or a close friends. You would asked general questions about the person life, school, work and family, therefore many will open up to you but a lot of people would not. Before you did the interview you had taken a NIH certification make sure you understand how to do the interview. You had recorded it, transmitted it, coded it and then present it to the class. Once everything was done you learned something new about this person or you may look at their cultural a different way. I’m very shy person and I don’t like talk to people I don’t know or asking people serious of questions because it make me feel uncomfortable. The person I interview, she worked at my job but I never really talk to her until one day in the break room. I decided to do my interview on her, she very shy person like me so a lot of questions she took a long pauses before answering the questions. I can say after doing this interview it made me be more talkative towards people and I understood why she was shy, quiet and stayed to herself. I really enjoy doing this interview and I would like to do another interview but with an older crowd. However when you get ready to do this assignment again see can we have any age limit, the reason I say that because it was this young lady I had in mind to do but she was under the age. The transcription part drove me insane, I didn’t like this part at all. The reason I hated the transcription part so much because I kept forgetting to type something and I had play the recording all over again. When doing transcription it took forever and I really thought I was never going to finish, my hand went to hurting from typing so much. I just wish this part was out of the
