Lou Rawls once stated, “Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don't understand the language that you're singing in, they still know good music when they hear it.” This quote explains how music plays a vital role in the world today because it has the ability to communicate to a large group of people about important issues. This gives music a lot of power because it is able to convey certain messages influencing a person's personality. Being surrounded by music for most of my life, I know that music has had a huge impact on my personality. I am constantly listening to music whether I am doing homework, driving a car, or exercising. My favorite lyrics from the song are “But I love my friends, I love my friends/We've got each other, don't need no others” because I when I first moved here I thought I needed a lot of friends, but I was wrong.
