Sure, fantasy football leagues have either just drafted, or are preparing to select competitive rosters for 2017. The goal is always to be crowned fantasy football champs. While running backs and wide receivers collectively accumulate points, the quarterback spot on a fantasy roster can ultimately determine who hauls home the hardware.

Hardcore enthusiasts, (possibly the competition), may look deep into their proverbial crystal ball in hopes of erecting a fantasy football dynasty snatching up the next great QB. If that’s the case, here are two quarterbacks who many project will finish their NCAA gridiron careers and become part of the NFL fantasy football scene. Both have the tool set to make them fantasy relevant in 2018 and beyond.

· Josh Rosen (UCLA) – The resonating sound of “#1 overall pick” echoed out of Los Angeles after Rosen’s freshman season. A poor start to 2016 season, followed by an injury, quieted the accolades. A rebound in 2017 could …show more content…

Mock 2018 drafts have Rosen staying out west, venturing but a few miles east to take over the reigns as the heir apparent quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals. Following Bruce Arians success with quarterbacks, Rosen could be headed for a match made in heaven.

· Sam Darnold (USC) – LA cross-town rival Sam Darnold may prove to be an even more sought after commodity than his Bruin archenemy. Darnold did little or nothing the first month of the So Cal schedule in 2016, but after that, the numbers were impressive.

Starting with a 4-point loss at Utah, the Trojan’s third in their first 4 games, Darnold would attempt over 30 passes in every game except three. He tossed over two dozen pass attempts in each of those.
