Introduction Disturbing Behavior is about 53 things that teens do to occupy their time. Teens do a lot of things from abortions, jelly bracelets/SNAP, oral sex, over-the counter, drugs to believing in different religious cults. Most of these are trends that teenagers do in order to keep themselves up with society. Different factors play a role in teenager’s trends such as psychological and social factors. All of these factors have an impact on teen’s disturbing behavior. Finally, sometimes the family has lifestyles that influence a lot of peers, their experiences and knowledge. Summary When we were a teens we used to try new and different things in order to impress our friends and be like the others in the crowd. Teens today are doing the same thing we use to do, but they have added some things to the list that they are doing. Because of this new demographic, people started seeing teenagers differently than children, as they did before. They had more freedom; they would be able to go out after school, they would start doing some “adult” activities, such as working. They had more independence from their parents. Teenagers would usually want to stay alone in their rooms talking to friends over the rotary dial phone (if they had one) or they would sneak out at night to go to clubs and parties.
The young people of today face many influences in their daily lives. Many of these influences are negative and in opposition to not only Christianity, but society in general. These influences on our youth can lead to many troubling activities, the book “Disturbing Behavior: 53 Alarming Trends of Teens and How to Spot Them” provides insight to many of these.
Creating ways to handle problems with guidance approach are very much like a journey to me. Teachers practice guidance when they help children to learn from their mistakes, rather than punish them for mistake they make, and it should not be considered as misbehaviour, but as mistaken behaviour. This reminds us that Child is just at the beginning of a lifelong learning process. At this stage we all make mistakes. Mistaken behaviour is made up of three different levels which in themselves explain each level in the learning process as they lack the experience and interaction to know the difference and therefore make errors in judgement in their actions. Bullying has serious short-term and long-term effects on persons physical and mental health. When it comes to bullying, there are three types of individuals. The bully, the victim, and the bully-victim. The bully is the person who is mistreating others by singling them out. The victim is the person on the receiving end of the mistreatment. The bully-victim is the person who is experiencing both ends of the equation. Many people falsely believe that bullying does not harm kids and it just a “regular” part of growing up. But it does, and there are many long-term effects that come from someone being bullied. A victim of bullying is more likely to develop psychiatric illnesses, can be diagnosed with a serious illness, are more likely to smoke cigarettes, become an alcoholic and abuse substances. They also tend to have difficulty maintaining long term relationships. Bullying is classified as intentional behavior that is harmful and that occurs repeatedly over time. It is described by an imbalance of power and it has continuos effects on whoever the victim is. Bullying can come in four different forms. The four types of bullying include: verbal, social, physical or cyber bullying. Verbal bullying includes but is not limited to, name calling and teasing. Social bullying is spreading rumors, ignoring people and leaving them out purposely, and breaking up friendships, “just because.” Physical bullying includes but is not limited to, punching, hitting, kicking or shoving someone. Cyber bullying is using the Internet, a cellphone, an iPad, or any other electronic devices as your shield in order to deliberately cause harm to others.
Mental illness, today we are surround by a broad array of types of mental illnesses and new discoveries in this field every day. Up till the mid 1800’s there was no speak of personality disorder, in fact there was only two type of mental illness recognized. Those two illnesses as defined by Dr. Sam Vaknin (2010), “”delirium” or “manial”- were depression (melancholy), psychoses, and delusions.” It was later in 1835 when J. C. Pritchard the British Physician working at Bristol Infirmary Hospital published his work titled “Treatise on Insanity and Other Disorder of the Mind” this opened the door to the world of personality disorder. There were many story and changes to his theories and mental illness and it was then when Henry Maudsley in 1885 put theses theories to work and applied to a patient. This form of mental illness has since grown into the many different types of personality disorder that we know today. Like the evolution of the illness itself there has been a significant change in the way this illness is diagnosed and treated.
I thought it was better to define what behavior therapy is, in order to better understand it. Many publications have their own interpretation but the common theme is, behavior therapy is observing a patients behavior from a therapeutic approach. Behavior therapy has a variety of techniques that include reinforces, conditioning techniques, behavioral modification and systematic desensitization. These techniques are used to change the undesirable behavior.
Bad Teens: Many teens in this generation today do 99.9% of the things they do just to fit in. Whether it's smoking,drinking, sneaking out,sex, etc they are going to do it if they see their friends doing it. Teens think that having sex isn't a big deal. Bullying is an activity that thrives mostly in a school setting because of peers and the various cultures and diversities among them. Interactions are inevitable among children, but bullying is destructive because it aims at peer victimisation. Both boys and girls have the ability to become bullies but the majority of them are boys who use physical and verbal attacks on their victims. In the more recent generations, the means of bullying is amplified in the adolescent stage by using electronic means like cyber bullying. Students will rarely like bullies but if they do, it is because of their leadership abilities or influential personalities. Their peers may join or stand by to watch as the victims are bullied.

The Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act, defines child abuse as a failure to act as a parent or caregiver which results in physical/emotional harm, sexual abuse, and in some cases death.
