There’s a wide population of teens today that surround themselves with negative people and get influenced to do the wrong thing. Many teens today should not be having sex and most definitely not unprotected sex. Unprotected sex today has caused many teens to turn out pregnant. Protection is not being used and some teens are just being followers copying off of the things the teens in their generation do. I also think that these parents are just NOT strict enough. No protection: In this generation many teens today wind up having sex without using protection then when they're hit with the news that their pregnant they just act so shocked and stunned like this was just impossible to happen. Many parents allow their child to go to anyplace , at any time not even knowing who their child is with. Another thing is parents are starting to let their kids do whatever they want and wonder why they end up the way they are. Parents need to set more boundaries for their child before they end up with a grandchild. Bad Teens: Many teens in this generation today do 99.9% of the things they do just to fit in. Whether it's smoking,drinking, sneaking out,sex, etc they are going to do it if they see their friends doing it. Teens think that having sex isn't a big deal. They think having sex is some type of sport or something. Many females just have sex to please a guy or their friends. Some females fall into boys trap and think that they really want them for them but they really just want to get into their pants. Become more protective: Parents should really start to be more overprotective with their children. If many parents took the time out to sit down and have a talk with their child telling them about the different diseases and how having unprotected sex is dangerous then it may change that child's decision. I'm not saying be too overprotective because that could just make it even worse but at least set understandable boundaries for your
