They also have poor muscle tone and or loose joints . Birth defects can be small problem or even big problems . One other common birth defect is " Cleft lip and cleft palate " this is when the upper lip does not form the correct way . A cleft palate is when the top of the mouth does not form the right way . These can cause problems such as feeding problems and dental problems. The reason why most of these clefts happen is because of the woman smoking while pregnant, not only that even if you’re around people that smoke tobacco are putting the baby in
