Autonomous cars, they are an extraordinary move in the vehicle industry! For those who do not know what autonomous cars are, they are cars that drive themself, cars that have an autopilot feature. Autonomous cars are cars of the future, there are very few as of today. One of the first are made by the Tesla company. The meaning of an autonomous car is a vehicle that can guide itself without the control of a human. This kind of vehicle has become reality being named, “futuristic” in the year 2017. This kind of car is where computers take almost complete control of the vehicle that you may be eventually driving. The GPS is sensing knowledge to help with navigation with the car and destinations. Autonomous cars are not yet available on a large scale of the world such as out of the United States of America, but have been programmed and developed to travel along the roads of America. Most autonomous cars are programmed only for American roads, we have made a big step towards the future with autonomous cars, with them being only available mainly in America, they are a luxury. But it may take some time till we get there, there is still some things to be figured out before they are fully here. Two terms for the switch to autonomous have become standard in the auto industry. There's the path of evolutionary to autonomous vehicles where they eventually get better and better and more high tech as time goes on. So coming soon, today's cars will have more self driving features, and there will be many more autonomous options coming bit by bit. For example,Tesla's autopilot feature, is a form of evolution in vehicles. Autonomous cars are a whole new era in the car and vehicle industry. And even better, with more technology comes the "revolutionary" path. That's where cars will be completely self driven, not only autopilot like the Tesla, but completely self driving, like some of the ones Google is working on. It will start as test vehicle, and become more and more mainstream like autopilot vehicles as they will be able to drive in more places.
