School is the best time, because you spend your day with people of your age. School days make your character and reveal it. During this time, you do not have any responsibility or tension except the tension of completing homework in a given period of time. On school days you do not only work on your academics but you also work on your inner skills and learning valuable lessons which will help you in life. As you look back to school life, you remember all the things and hopefully you smile, there are a lot of things to remember in school life and that can make you cherish. My high school experience changed me profusely. I learned many lessons being a high school student. I feel excited to see new people and finding similarities between them. The most important thing during this experience was how learning new culture and experiencing new people is amazing and makes you wise. Being so far from my home and meeting different people, give me the feeling of how big our world is and how less we know about it. It is same as frog in a well know nothing of the great ocean, when you are in one place you do not about other world and your thinking has boundaries like frog has in the well. Would you consider going to a school where you learn year-round? Maybe this would be your ideal school, but, when would you get to have some time to go to summer camp, or get a summer job, or play a sport with games during the day? Schools with the traditional schedule may actually be a better choice, and not just because kids love summer break. Schools should have a traditional school year schedule instead of a year round schedule because there isn’t a significant difference between the students’ performance, and year round schedules make planning family vacations hard, make the teachers’ job more difficult, and are more expensive. Also, having a summer break allows kids to participate in activities that they would not be able to do on a year round schedule due to the shorter breaks.
Does year-round school truly have a positive impact in the lives of students? Various studies have suggested that year round school is helpful. There are some disadvantages to this type of schooling that are preventing all schools from switching to this type of scheduling. High school was not a completely dreadful experience, but I did not get a really an exceptional education. As I entered high school, I thought it would be a whole new exciting chapter in my life. I started out as an involved student, and went through all of the Advance Placement and Honor classes, and managed to be at the top 12% of my class. In high school, I basically placed myself to enjoy it; I joined all of the extra curricular activities I was interested in. I was in band, tennis, swimming, dance team, and Key Club. Sometimes I was at school for about fourteen hours a day, four times a week.

According to American Academy of Pediatrics, they believe that a child needs a scheduled recess at school daily because of its effects on children. Recently, schools have cutting down on recess time because of poor grades and standards are rising. What they don't know is that a child needs a break from work like everyone else does. Schools should include recess in Middle school and High school because it helps lower obesity, lower stress, and develop social skills .
High school is where I had gained an awareness about how what I 'm learning in school is going to benefit me in the real world. I learned an retain a variety of information because the things that I did learn I felt like you would need to know to survive in the real world. A perfect example of this is driver 's ed where I learned to drive something that I do everyday frequently. Another reason why I learned and retain so much I because when I got into high school is around the same time I got my first job. There are many different year-round school schedules. The most popular one is the forty-five fifteen schedule. On that schedule, the students go to school for forty-five days then have fifteen days off. That translates to five weeks of school then three weeks off. There are two other main schedules. One of them being the ninety and thirty, twelve weeks and four weeks. Also, there is the sixty and twenty, eight weeks and almost three weeks. All of these schedules have the same little breaks, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break worked into them. I would say that any of those are better than thirty-six weeks of school then fifteen weeks, one hundred eighty days the ninety days.
What do you think about going to school year round with little breaks here and there, but not your traditional three month summer break? Year round schooling has been a decision argued with the government, teachers, principals and parents. Many kids and adults like to relax on their three month break. Many students are used to having two week winter break, one week spring break, and three months of summer break. Overall, one three month break would benefit than having three-week breaks broken up throughout the school year.

My High School life has helped shape the way for my college experiences that I will face. My senior year in high school is not the same as many other high school students. I am taking many advanced classes to help me prepare for college. These classes help me better understand exactly how much harder I must work to succeed.
Different cultures, or environments make up how people live their lives and how they may act on a daily basis. These cultures are common all throughout the world, even throughout the different places within the United States. Going on my school trip to New York City made me aware of these cultures changes and when are plane landed back in Minnesota I was so thankful to be back to the places and faces I had always been used to.
My education is limited to a High School level, and it was over a decade ago that I graduated. However High School definitely had its lessons that still stick with me today. My English classes gave me the skills to be able to communicate through words, and how to make them count; History showed me the importance of learning from a past, and how to turn it into success in the future. That being said, making the decision to go back to school where I stand today is a learning experience beyond what I can remember from High School.

My experience with school was very challenging and overcoming my personal struggles was not an easy feat. I started Kindergarten with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and I’m thankful that my preschool teacher recognized my learning challenges and encouraged my parents to have me evaluated. We found out that I had ADHD and learning disabilities that would make academic achievement a challenge for me. More specifically, I had difficulty decoding words and pronouncing some letter sounds such as “R’s” and “W’s”. As a result, excelling in school was a challenge due to my disability and the reaction of other students to my disability only made it more difficult.
