Last summer I went on one of the most amazing trips I have ever been on. This was a road trip across America. The three most significant places I went to were, Glacier National Park, Montana, Banff, Canada, and San Francisco, California. Cross country road trips are amazing, because you get to see so many cool places. They can change the way you look at your country forever. The USA is especially marvelous, because of how much your landscape changes the farther you travel and how different and unique each state is. They talked and laughed, sharing memories from when they were really young. It was lots of fun, until they handed me a plate of shellfish. I despise fish and had to eat one or two to not come off as rude, but dinner was great and I really enjoyed my time there. We finally arrived in California, after around two weeks of driving. We told all my relatives and it was fun to describe how many miles we had hiked and see the surprised look on their faces. We had contests to see how many states the other people had been to, and joked about the arguments we had. My brother and I spent most of our time in my grandma's pool and playing badminton in the back yard. I realized talking about the trip was nearly as enjoyable as actually taking it. I looked back on my trip and thought about how amazing it was that we had driven all those miles and all those places. I knew that it had changed my life and that I would remember it forever. I was so enthusiastic about it and it exceeded my expectations. Glacier National Park was amazing and beautiful and Banff brought so many memories back to my mother and was also one of the most breathtaking places I have ever been to.
