Many have wondered how to tell what type of writer a person is. How do you tell? How can you be sure? One famous writer to focus on is Ernest Hemingway. Does he write because of his life experiences or does he write for other reasons? The claim reviewed in this essay is his writings are based off his life’s experiences. During Ernest’s childhood he spent time with both parents (Ernest Hemingway). He would go hunting and fishing with his father at his summer home in northern Michigan(Ernest Hemingway). With his mother he learned about the finer things in life such as music(Ernest Hemingway). He grew up in an upper-middle class suburb in Chicago. In high school he wrote for the high school newspaper, after he graduated he wrote for the local paper “Kansas City Star” instead of going to college(Ernest Hemingway).
