I feel that Montclair State University English Writing course had benefited me having a great ability as a writer. When I first started English writing 106 I was very confused because it was a new writing style introduced to me. This writing style was never introduced to me during my high school year and it was very hard for me to master on my own. The essays that I wrote during this semester had really challenged my writing. When it came to Analysis text it was a different level to improve my writing and understand what I had read. From paper one through four it took me time, effort and different ideas from family and friends to write a dissent paper that would allow me to pass the course by the end of the semester. My writing had improve from the beginning of this course to the end of the course. I had ups and downs writing all of my papers for example paper 3 I consider it was the hardest paper I had to write during the semester. The only problem I had during this semester it was that I never went to get help to improve my writing. What I had learn was that almost everyone struggle when it comes to writing a paper. Most writer have their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to writing. My main weaknesses as a writer was that I never look for help always done everything by myself. Also, that’s one of the main reason why I had struggle writing Analyze essay. For paper four I was very happy because I had gotten many suggestions and ideas for the last paper by my family and friends during the last few week of the semester. Another, weakness that I had during this course was not being confident of my work and not understanding what the text used to mean in a different perspective. By, the end of the course my strengths as a writer I had improve a lot. Now I can analyze any text and understand what it meant in different
