The concept of bipolar disorder grew out of Emil Kraepelin’s classification of manic depressive insanity, which was postulated around the end of the 19th century. Kraepelin’s was a German psychiatrist who found the connection between brain biology and mental illness. Kraepelin’s found the different between “dementia praecox” (now schizophrenia) and “manic—depression” (bipolar disorder).According to the national instate of health bipolar disorder formally known as manic disorder is a brain disease that causes unusual shift mood, energy and the things you do daily life activities.
