Part 1 Federalism is a method of government that allows many individuals to share governor over the same geographic state. In a federalist government, the control is divided between the national and other administrative units. In the United States, the power is separated between our federal government and our confined governments. Federalism was made by the Founding Fathers to help demand the balance of powers. In my opinion, I think that Federalism, the split of authority between federal and state, augments the effectiveness of our government. By sharing the power amongst state and the national government, it has amplified our capabilities as citizens to subsidize and make an impression. Trump should be able to promise the citizens of the United States so that we can gain trust between our presidents. Donald Trump should also have a compassion for what he is doing so that many people know that Trump is actually serious when making decisions. A lot of people I know are opposed to Trump being president because he has only worked as a business man rather than working in politics. This leads many people in fear of what he would do for the country, but if Trump shows compassion towards being president, it would allow many people to trust in him. Also, to be a successful president, Trump should also have a strong character. Based on the debates during the elections and his tweets from Twitter, Trump was and is very irrational and quick-tempered. To be a successful president, Trump shouldn’t be quick to temper and always rationalize his situation. Some challenges Trump will face when getting his policies or goals accomplished would be running them by Congress. I believe that Trump would have troubles because many people in Congress do not agree with his policies such as building a wall on the boarder of Mexico. During Trump’s campaign, he said that he wanted to build a wall to prevent any illegal immigrants coming to America undocumented. Congress don’t agree with Trump building a high wall against Mexico just like many of his goals, so I believe that this is one of Trump’s goals that would be a challenge to accomplish. The role of Congress in the effectiveness of the Executive Branch is being able to veto. Being able to veto bills is a role of effectiveness in the Executive Branch because it works well to prevent any bad things from happening.
