A Terrifying World to Come What a terrifying world we live in, but I can only imagine what will happen if Donald Trump were to become the 45th president. How would the government change with his corruption ways? Donald Trump's abrasive and abusive behavior makes him uncooperative and difficult to realize the issues. Would his harsh and rude comments and involvement with the Ku Klux Klan shatter the world? Or would his statement of “Making America great again” come true? Would the fate of America have a downward spiral?

Every 20th of January, the United States undergoes the passing of power from one president, to another. On this specific election, Donald J. Trump was elected as president. He has received much criticism from opposition, but much praise from his supporters. Although a very controversial person, Trump gave a great speech that was based on uniting the people as one. Trump used multiple rhetorical strategies such as repetition, pauses in speech, and listing are just a few of them. Adding hints of populism, his speech was one that touched many citizens. While very controversial, Trump’s inauguration speech was one that was based on the people, not the elite, about bringing back what made America great, and uniting everyone as one.
We study the beginning of America and the movement of settlers into a new land. Then we look at the formation of the United States through the Revolutionary War. But nothing has ever changed this country from the inside as much as the Ku Klux Klan invasion into the country. During the height of the Klan’s power and influence, it was doing many things right. It had attracted mass amounts of people with a simple message and used them to complete a secret agenda. In this article Kareem explains his side that politicians under the guise of patriotism publically commit hate crimes. Kareem explains the definition of a hate crime in being “the violence of intolerance and bigotry, intended to hurt and intimidate someone because of their race, ethnicity, national origin, religious, sexual orientation, or disability.” He then uses a prime example, current republican candidate Donald Trump. In essence, running the country into the ground with little compassion, bulldog tactics, and little care of the outcome. To be clear, the irony of all of this is that a lot of people aren’t really expecting much more based on the morals of this man. That was the basis that this election stood on. The flashy, fiery business ways of a reality show conman who somehow got fifty plus million people to make him Commander and
