Dogs today are being trained to be service dogs. Training a dog takes at least one to two years. Training a dog means they must be able to behave in public areas without causing any problems, the second thing a dog must be able to do, is to act appropriately with whatever disability the owner may have. Some people say that dogs can sense when their owner is about to have a seizure, but others say dogs can sense it but their instincts kick in and they have the need to protect their owner. The only animals allowed to be service animals are dogs and in some cases miniature horse.

Endal was a famous service dog. He helped his owner by saving his life one day. The owner, Allen Parton, was severely injured in a car accident resulting. Allen had to live the rest of his life in a wheelchair because of this car crash. He was very

Other dogs in the working class are: Akita, Alaskan Malamute, Anatolian Shepherd dog, and Bernese Mountain dog. German Shepherds are known for their strength, intelligence, trainability, and obedience.
Any breed of dog can be a service dog but the most common breeds are Golden Retrievers and Labs. Dogs are trained to do many things like: being police dogs, fire dogs, search and rescue dogs, guide and hearing dogs, therapy dogs, seizure dogs, physical assistance dogs, and many other jobs. Dogs start training two days after they're born. The owner is responsible for knowing and being in charge of any actions their dogs make.

It is always important to keep your dog acting appropriately because it doesn’t just affects other service dogs and their images too. If your dog is being disruptive in any way it can be removed from the area. A dog should be able to perform any of the basic commands such as heel, sit, stay, down, come and
