Last year I found out that I was going to Disney with Becky and Michael, my mom and dad’s friends. I was extremely excited because I had only gone once before and I had been asking to go for years. We left in late July and came back 7 days later. While we were there we went to all of the parks and stayed in the Disney animal Kingdom lodge. Going to Disney was incredibly important to me because I got to spend time with other than my family and I got to do something that I had been wanting to do for a long time. My favorite part of Disney was seeing the fireworks and seeing the differences in the unusual buildings that were so diverse. The weather was really nice when we were at Disney however, in evening it would start to rain, on our to monorail

The Hero’s Journey is a basic template utilized by writers everywhere. Joseph Campbell, an American scholar, analyzed an abundance of myths and literature and decided that almost all of them followed a template that has around twelve steps. He would call these steps the Hero’s Journey. The steps to the Hero’s Journey are a hero is born into ordinary circumstances, call to adventure/action, refusal of call, a push to go on the journey, aid by mentor, a crossing of the threshold, the hero is tested, defeat of a villain, possible prize, hero goes home. The Hero’s Journey is more or less the same journey every time. It is a circular pattern used in stories or myths.
My life intersects with Into The Wild because I never had a good relationship with my mom or stepfather Dan who was 21 years older than my mother. So I “escaped” to Columbia much like Chris did from his own reality. Dan would drink every day; you would rarely see him without a drink in his hand. His drink of choice would be either whiskey or beer depending on what he could afford. You could always tell when he was smashed and when he was I was the person he wanted to tear down with his words the most. I remember one night after my grandma just had surgery and she was staying with us my mom asked me to cook. I told her I would. I then went outside to check what I was grilling and I knew Dan was out there intoxicated.
Furthermore, Disney World was the best experience for me because I went on the most amazing rides. Walking around the park, Monica, who is my older sister, would always tell me stories about the risks and dangers of getting on a rollercoaster and stories about people going to the hospital die to their horrible

Have you ever been to Disney world? Well they say It’s a place where dreams come true.
When one is a home-schooled student, especially through the High School years, there are a lot of different and varied events and activities available: sports, Co-op classes, specialized field trips, family vacations turned into a mobile, remote classroom, and even a home-school prom. Some of these events, to enumerate only a few, include dance team competitions, volleyball competitions and tournaments, including regional and national level play, and baseball and softball competitions that culminate in a “world series” event for the home school teams.
Executive Summary: The entertainment industry holds the immense potential for growth and development. The industry is constantly evolving and Walt Disney emerge as a global leader and recognized as the world’s second largest media conglomerate in the terms of revenue after Comcast. The Walt Disney Company is a multinational entertainment conglomerate headquartered at California, United States. From a small community area within the suburbs of Chicago to the hills of California, Walter Elias Disney’s journey through life is considered to be, at least by myself, an incredibly inspirational story. Walt Disney was the epitome of an innovator during the era that he was alive for. His determination and resiliency to follow his dreams were never stopped as he created one of the most successful corporations in the world today. His lasting legacy has shaped The Walt Disney Company’s business strategies for the present and ongoing future. In terms of revenue The Walt Disney Company, otherwise known as Disney, is currently considered the second largest media firm in the world, only to be behind Comcast (“Global 2000”). It is my goal to break down Walt Disney’s story towards becoming the influential leader that he will always be remembered as. After touching up on his background story, I want to walk you through the very beginnings of the Disney Company all the way to the end of Walt’s life. The story will begin where all he had was a small cartoon named Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and finish with Walt’s latest and greatest accomplishment, Mary Poppins. I will illustrate the difficult times and successful times throughout his almost 50 year reign within the media business. Notice how I only relate to Walt Disney’s life as a story; I do this because I firmly believe that his life was the greatest story of them all. He has brought so much joy to families with his revolutionary ideas and willingness to take risks because he wanted to share his imagination with the world. The story of Walt Disney’s life truly was a dream come true.
The Main Street station, is the curtains to a large production as if the Magic Kingdom was a theater. As I wander beneath the archway, I notice that above the arch is a plaque that reads: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy”. As I continue to stroll through the passage on the way to Main Street, there are posters of “upcoming attractions” that line the walls on both sides. I then step into Main Street U.S.A. and begin to hear the Victorian style orchestra playing over the speakers. I notice some Disney pals in Town Square greeting guests as if they were old friends. Then I begin to travel further down the street, and the smell of the caramel apples, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweets walk out of the open doors of the bakery and into the street. At the end of this turn of the century town, sits the one hundred eightyninefoottall, Cinderella Castle. This moment is a pivotal moment in any Disney vacation, because the castle is well known to millions. I get
Every since I can remember I have liked to watch movies, I would never watch a scary
Ever since I was about six years old, I wanted in the worst way to go to Disneyland. I would hope every year that my parents would chose Disneyland as our next family vacation destination. I dreamt of the day I would come back from Disneyland with exciting tales of adventure and a pair of sparkly, ruby red and black Minnie Mouse ears of my very own that would be the envy of every kid in my elementary class. Once I finally went to Disneyland, it was amazing; Disneyland was everything I had expected and more. However, a couple years later when I returned to Disneyland, it was different. The rides, buildings, and everything in the park did not have the same allure. The magic I had experienced as a child was no longer there.
Two years ago, over winter break I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The whole trip was wonderful and memorable but the first day will always be memorable. It took my family almost two whole days on the long drive from our house to Florida. We passed through South Carolina and Georgia until we finally crossed the border into Florida. Florida was the most interesting state to drive through, palm tree lined the sides of the roads and every so often a scenic landscape would lie just outside the car windows. I could feel the anticipation circling around me as we got closer and closer. Disney World was only a couple minutes away. When I finally saw the magical purple signs welcoming me in I knew I was there. My family drove past a lake and we saw Disney Springs. The skyline of the area was amazing as we drove by, it was lined with buildings of all shapes, colors and sizes. There was even a giant hot air balloon amongst them all! After the skyline faded away from our view we drove along the curvy path to our resort. The horses and pastel color scheme warmly welcomed us in. After we got situated we hopped onto a bus and were on our way. We had to prepare for a day of riding rides, traveling the world and watching fireworks. Our
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
The trip was the most amazing trip of my life. Going to Disney World was a stress relief for me, my mom, sister, and brother. It was a relief because we all knew that going through those difficult days was over. What topped the trip off for me and my family was that everything was free, and I got to pick my dream car to ride around, Orlando, Florida. Going on rides with a free flash pass, staying in Nickelodeon hotel for a week, free breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
